Old Nemaska Gathering Postponed to August 28

Following thorough deliberation by both the Council of the Cree Nation of Nemaska and the Social Development Department, a collective decision has been reached to reschedule the Old Nemaska Gathering. The event will now take place from August 28 to September 10, 2023. It was not an easy decision, but it stands as the optimal choice prioritizing the safety and well-being of our members and residents.

While we’re eagerly waiting for the Old Nemaska Days event, the boat is all set to sail during the weekends leading up to the gathering, adding an extra layer of excitement to our anticipation.
