Workshops About Weather Stations Next Week

The Cree Nation Government’s Climate Change Unit would like to invite you to join them on Monday, May 27th at 5:30pm at the band office conference room for a community workshop. They are excited to share their initiative aimed at enhancing accessibility to weather data across Eeyou Istchee and their plan to install a Cree owned weather station near Nemaska. Their workshop will feature a standard presentation followed by a discussion where you can voice your thoughts and concerns.
For our younger participants 12-35, a special youth workshop will happen on Tuesday, May 28th at 5:30pm in the Youth’s Center’s gathering room.
