The Department of Finance ensures the effective control and updating of all stages of the accounting system for the Cree Nation of Nemaska, such as preparation of the monthly budgets and monthly internal financial statements and financial forecasts, and preparation of audits. It is also responsible for ensuring that all services and programs necessary pursuant to the Cree Nation of Nemaska obligations are delivered within allocated budgets and designated authorities in accordance with signed contracts and agreements.
