step 3 deconfinement plan details

Persons who have returned from an area of risk (as shown on CNG map) must still take a rapid test upon arrival at the gate (Day 1) if they have stayed in area of risk for more than 72 hours. Persons who have received a negative test (administered by a recognized testing authority) within 72 hours upon arrival, are still exempt from the test on Day 1. Furthermore, the measures have been reduced to mandatory testing for everyone, vaccinated or non-vaccinated. As such, all travellers returning from an area of risk will be required to be tested upon arrival (as mentioned above) as well as on Day 3 and 5.

We continue to recommend that those who travelled to other Communities or to Region 10 (Nord-du-Quebec which includes Chibougamau and Matagami) take a rapid test 72 hours after their return to the Community. The Checkpoint agents will distribute home tests to travelers returning from Region 10.
