Installation of New Equipment by Hydro-Québec

We would like to bring to your attention an important project that will be undertaken by Hydro-Quebec in our community in the coming weeks. Hydro-Québec will be initiating the installation of 2 new voltage regulation equipment. The primary objectives of this project are to regularize voltage, boost voltage at the end of the power line and to have installations near the airport and at the Narrows to unload the Nemaska powerline. The planting of poles is scheduled to commence this week. However, the full installation of the equipment will take place over the coming weeks.

While driving, we kindly request that you reduce your speed near Hydro-Québec workers to prioritize the safety of everyone involved. Your cooperation and understanding during the execution of this project are greatly appreciated.
