SUBJECT:  Forest Fires Update

Dear Members and Residents,

As some of you are already aware, three (3) fires have been reported around the Nemaska area: one (1) near Old Nemaska and two (2) near the Community.  As of right now, the Route du Nord and the Billy Diamond Highway are still open.

We are continuously monitoring the wildfire situation in collaboration with Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) and the Société de Protection des Forêts Contre le Feu (SOPFEU) to ensure the safety of our Community. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as the situation evolves.
